Ningbo College of Health Sciences has a history of eighty years. It is a public full-time university for training application-oriented professionals with relevant medical expertise. The development plan of the college is "centering on one target, building two teams, forming three major systems, and carrying out four projects", to be specific, to vigorously strengthen the construction of teachers team and management team, form higher health education system, modern management system and characteristic cultural system, and carry out course specialized construction project, talent training quality construction project, teacher team construction project and campus culture construction project, and thus to build a modern higher health college with distinctive features and advantages. At present, the college has more than 5,200 odd full-time students and 3,000 odd students for adult education. It is defined by the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Public Health as a base for training demand skilled talents in nursing field.
